On 12th October 2018, the Beijing Climate Talk took place at the Beijing Kerry Center. The event was co-organized by GIZ China, ClimateWorks Foundation, and Energy Foundation. Over 20 climate leaders from research institutes, NGOs, embassies, and governmental agencies participated in this meeting. They shared valuable experiences and exchanged ideas on their understanding of the implementation status, views and suggestions for future engagement of domestic Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC). Participants reached an agreement that the implementation of China’s NDC by 2020 has been moving forward faster than expected. Chinese stakeholders and non-stakeholders are looking forward to close cooperation and collaboration in tackling climate change. Each of the participants presented their current NDC cooperation.
