The translation of the SUMP Guidelines was commissioned by the BMU-IKI project Sino-German Cooperation on Low Carbon Transport CLCT to make the Guidelines available to Chinese policymakers and planners. Based on the SUMP Guidelines, the CLCT project will implement a SUMP in the Chinese city of Foshan, aiming at a better alignment of urban and transport planning and the development of a climate-friendly mobility system.
