Sino-German Day on Building Energy Efficiency @ Fenestration BAU 2019 Shanghai

GIZ’s Supporting Jiangsu Low Carbon Development project, together with the Sino-German Urbanisation Partnership and the Building Industry New Technology Professional Talent Strategic Development Alliance project, held the Sino-German Building Energy Conservation Day sub-forum at the BAU 2019 exhibition site. The event had two sessions. The morning session focused on energy-saving measures for high-rise buildings and the opportunities and challenges for China in promoting the development of “capacity buildings”. The afternoon session addressed the mechanism for training talents in the construction industry under the Sino-German cooperation model and related project cases.

Extension of Jiangsu Project Phase III

The “Supporting the Low Carbon Development of Jiangsu Province Phase III” project has been extended on a cost neutral basis to 30 April 2023 to finalise all indicators for achieving its overall goal. The extension application was approved officially by BMWK on 1 February 2023.
