The CCICED 2021 Roundtable and High-level Dialogue on International Cooperation for Ecology and Environment was held on 03 June 2021. The discussions at the roundtable this year revolved around the theme “Building a Community with a Shared Future for Humanity: Synergies between Pollution Control and Carbon Emission Reduction”.
During the forum it was pointed out that achieving carbon dioxide emissions peak and carbon neutrality requires broad and profound changes in economic and social systems. The Yangtze River Delta is one of the most active, open, and innovative regions in China. It will play an important and demonstrative role in the new journey of achieving carbon dioxide emissions peak and carbon neutrality.
More than 80 representatives attended the forum, including some CCICED members, policy experts, cooperation partners as well as stakeholders from Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Anhui Province.
