On 25 October, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment (MEE) published the “Notice on National ETS Emission Data Quality and Supervision Work” to the local ecological and environmental authorities. To ensure the emission data quality, it requested local authorities’ assistance to check the emission reports and verification reports for 2019 and 2020 from the power enterprises covered by national ETS and to submit reports on compliance status and emissions data quality to the MEE by 30 November 2021.
