The deadline for the reporting of verified emissions data for power generation companies under the national ETS for 2021 will be extended by three months to the end of September, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment (MEE) said on 8 June.
The MEE also announced changes to the monitoring, reporting and verification (MRV) rules, for example a lower default value for carbon content. The ministry further warns companies against reporting incorrect or falsified emissions data.
