During a regular press conference of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment (MEE) in September, Mr. BIE Tao, Deputy Director of the Department of Laws, Regulations and Standards, introduced the working progress of the “Ordinance on Carbon Emissions Trading System Administrative Management”. According to BIE, was the Ordinance handed to the State Council last year, is already listed in the State Council’s legislation plan of 2022 and is waiting to be reviewed. Then the State Council will make a decision on rolling out the Ordinance in due time.
