Workshop on how to update emission factors of regional power grids in China

The workshop was hosted by the National Center for Climate Change Strategy and International Cooperation (NCSC) on 06 May and focused on updating emission factors for CCER[1] projects. Experts from Tsinghua University, China Environmental United Center, China Classification Society, China Electricity Council and Energy Research Institute, and GIZ China engaged in an exchange on calculation methods, data gaps and transparency of data sets. The findings of the workshop will be reflected in a study that is being prepared for the MEE as part of the Sino-German cooperation project to support the national ETS development.
