Project: Sino-German Environmental Partnership II

As a follow-up of the Sino-German Workshop on Green COP held on  October 28, 2019, the Environmental Partnership Project organised a virtual seminar on the preparation of a sustainable COP for the members of the Chinese Committee for the preparation of the CBD COP-15 on the 9th of March. The opening speech from German side was held by Ms. Inka Gnittke, Head of Division – International Cooperation on Biodiversity and CBD National Focal Point (BMU).

Dr. Christian Stärz, Director of the project Sino-German Environmental Partnership II, was nominated by the Chinese Ministry of Ecology and Environment (MEE) to become the International Expert of the CCICED Special Policy Study (SPS) “Major Green Technology Innovation and Implementation Mechanisms”.

The “Seminar on the Management of Protected Areas” took place on December 15th, 2020. It was co-hosted by the German Embassy in Beijing and the Sino-German Environmental Partnership Project.
