Financial issues are believed to be one of the key factors determining the development of green industries including renewable energy. Since the Yancheng Government is developing its green industry, GIZ Jiangsu project together with Shanghai Environment and Energy Exchange Center organized a workshop on the topic of financial support for green industries. Experts from the Central Finance and Economy University, Fudan University and Xingye Bank shared best policy practices and financial experiences.
Extension of Jiangsu Project Phase III
The “Supporting the Low Carbon Development of Jiangsu Province Phase III” project has been extended on a cost neutral basis to 30 April 2023 to finalise all indicators for achieving its overall goal. The extension application was approved officially by BMWK on 1 February 2023.
