Description: Yingying REN joined GIZ China in 2018. Yingying holds a master’s degree in Gouvernance des organisations pour le développement international (GODI) from Université Grenoble Alpes, with specialization in sustainable development. Prior to joining GIZ China, Yingying has worked at the UN Environment Land Use Finance Unit, where she analyzed the framework about environmental & social risk. She has helped UN Environment set up a new partnership with Rabobank. Besides a keen interest in understanding the links between climate change and finance, she is also interested about how the financial system can be used as an instrument to tackle climate change. Yingying is qualified as a certified expert in climate and renewable energy finance at Frankfurt School of Finance & Management – UNEP Collaborating Center.
