On October 20, 21 and 25, 2022, capacity building workshops for selected industrial parks in Jiangsu province were held in cities of Xuzhou, Nantong and Lianyungang respectively. The workshops covered circular economy transformation based on “Green and Ecological Development in Industry Parks Guidebook.”
The workshop series provided technical solutions to achieve low carbon development, addressed recent focus of carbon peak and carbon neutrality and its impact on industrial parks, and how circular economy can contribute to carbon peak and carbon neutrality. The training courses included policy interpretations and implementation approaches, science and technology innovation, and energy transition and information application, all in the context of carbon peaking and neutrality. Additionally, Jiangsu Province’s “14th Five Year Plan” energy transition and development path; enterprises’ ESG management system, the carbon asset management and carbon financing in the context of dual carbon goals were presented and discussed.
