The workshop series on the topic of circular economy transformation was held in industrial parks of Jiangsu Province throughout late 2022.
On July 21, 28 and 29, August 11, September 15 and 30, 2022, the capacity building workshops for selected industrial parks in Jiangsu province on the topic of circular economy transformation were held in the cities of Yangzhou, Taizhou and Yancheng, Suqian, Zhenjiang and Wuxi respectively.
The workshop series provided technical solutions to achieve low-carbon development, addressed low-carbon development in industrial parks, and focused on how circular economy can help achieve carbon peaking and neutrality. The training courses mainly included policy interpretations and implementation approaches as well as the science and technology approaches of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality. Further topics included energy transition and information application in the context of carbon peaking and neutrality, Jiangsu’s “14th Five Year Plan” energy transition and development pathway, enterprise ESG management system, and the carbon asset management and carbon financing.
