On April 15 2022, a training workshop on climate and environment risk disclosures was held online. Experts from the New Zealand Global Change Institute, Beijing Normal University, Research Institute for Eco-civilization, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), and Nankai University delivered presentations. The introduced topics focused on the background and context of climate and environmental risks as well as the domestic and international progress on climate and environmental risk disclosure. Best practices on climate and environmental risk disclosure and guidance on compiling climate and environmental risk disclosure reports were also discussed. Additionally, were platform tools and analysis skills for climate and environmental risk disclosure introduced. Hereby, a special focus was put on the support of relevant governmental departments and enterprises addressing climate change, pursuing new economic growth engines, and promoting capacity building in opening up new sectors of development.
