Research proposal exchange with Chinese cement sector experts

During the workshop on 26 January, the NDCI project‘s workstream on sectoral best practices met up with Chinese partners and experts from the National Center for Climate Change Strategy and International Cooperation (NCSC), the Energy Research Institute (ERI), China Cement Association, and the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) in order to discuss next steps for the planned cooperation on aligning the Chinese cement sector with the Chinese NDC targets.

Field Visit to Liyang Dual Carbon Demonstration Site

MEE and other government bodies publish the Notice of the Pilot Work on Climate Investment and Financing and attach the drafted Climate Investment and Financing Pilot Work Scheme

In order to thoroughly implement the major strategic decisions of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality and to explore differentiated institutional mechanisms for climate investment and financing, on 23 December 2021 the MEE together with other 8 administrative bodies and finance intuitions circulated the Notice of the Pilot Work on Climate Investment and Financing (and attached the drafted Climate Investment and Financing Pilot Work Scheme).
